Different Types of Teams

Dependence spectrum


  • Typically very structured (Often close to a w2 job)
  • Often great training/get off the ground fast
  • Typically splits are lower 30-50%
  • Can usually depend on receiving good lead volume & steady income
  • Much more dependent on the team for your success


  • Typically NOT very structured
  • May or may not train well
  • Typically splits are 50-80%
  • Usually do NOT receive many leads/ Taught & expected to build your own business
  • Sink or swim based solely on your own production


  • Usually fairly structured
  • Good Training and lots of Collaboration
  • Splits are 35-70%
  • Typically receive leads from team if you want them, but are also taught to grow your own business.
  • Rising tide raises all ships.  Everyone shares their skills to better the team as a whole

  • Typically Harder to Grow Your Business
  • Typically an Earnings Ceiling
  • Lowest Splits

INTERDEPENDENT – Semi Structured


  • More Secure (likely to succeed)
  • Some-Good Freedom
  • Proven Plans to Follow
  • High Profit Potentia
  • Opportunity to Build Your Career
  • High Level of Accountability
  • Team Collaboration on Ideas
  • Lots of Training/Coaching
